Andreas Brehme was a perfectly ambidextrous fullback, able to play on both flanks or as a midfielder. He had an innate tactical sense, great concentration, good defensive abilities, and was extraordinary on set pieces.
He was a key player for the German national team, world champions in 1990, and reached his prime at Inter Milan.
